“Light was a major consideration for us”, explains Heinz Kiess of the BMC. “Indirect lighting creates a special feeling of well-being in the kitchen and living area too. This is further enhanced by timber-effect flooring and special coverings for the side walls and the ceilings, into which three roof hatches, roof ventilators and air-conditioning systems have been integrated. The HVAC equipment ensures a pleasant indoor climate at very hot and very cold temperatures, as well as everything in between. “
The vehicle is also fitted with three 5-kW inverters, four lithium ion batteries, battery management system, powerful alternator, WiFi, BirdView camera system, satellite system and ski compartment. For water supply on board there is a fresh water tank (920 liters) and one for gray water (520 l). «Our experts», points out Kiess, «we have also modified the shell of the bus to satisfy the advanced structural requirements for the roof and the luggage compartment».
This Neoplan Tourliner is a 12-meter two-axle coach with a 460-hp engine and a 12-speed MAN TipMatic automatic transmission. Among the safety and comfort features, the EBS electronic braking system with ABS and ASR and ESP for electronic stability.
