Barbi is an historical manufacturer of the ‘made in Italy’ coach industry. Launched in 1905 with the production of horse-drawn carriages, the company is now offering models mainly dedicated to tourism sector. These are coaches bodied on Volvo mechanics through a partnership with the Swedish company since the mid-Eighties. With the latest model launched in 2008, the Galileo Hd, the Modena-based company has returned to work with Irisbus after a few decades proposing the Galileo Hdh from 13.8 meters on Iveco chassis.
Barbi also sells used buses proposing a fleet of vehicles of different brand and type.
In addition to buses, the Italian company builts special vehicles such as vans for horses transport and the cable car cabins.
