VDL Bus & Coach manufactures and sells buses and chassis modules.It is a Dutch group of six companies: VDL Berkhof Heerenveen, VDL Berkhof Valkenswaard, VDL Bova, VDL Bus Chassis, VDL Kusters and Apts. The production takes place in Holland and Belgium and the company sell its vehicles through a worldwide network of own offices, importers and agents in over thirty countries.
With the addition of Bova in VDL Group in 2003 and the subsequent birth of VDL Bus & Coach in 2006, VDL Bova Italy was renamed VDL Bus & Coach Italy. The company is headquartered in Spilamberto, near Modena. In addition to coaches of VDL Bova, the company sells citybuse, intercity and airport buses by VDL Berkhof Heerenveen, the touring coaches and double decker by VDL Berkhof Valkenswaard, the regular service buses, coaches and schoolbus branded VDL Jonckheere. And then the frames and modules by VDL Bus Chassis, mini and midibus by VDL Kusters and the Phileas tram with pneus by Apts with parallel hybrid drive system and magnetic drive.
Among the products marketed by VDL Bus & Coach there are also used buses. Head coach of the sale and purchase of second-hand vehicles is 'VDL Coach & Bus Center', a division that coordinates the provision of the means of all the VDL companies. Three are the branches of VDL CBC, in addition to the central at Veldhoven in the Netherlands, the center of Büren (Germany) and Goussainville (France).
