The Georgian capital is renewing its bus fleet with MAN buses. Following an order of the past year for 90 Lion’s City buses, 50 of these vehicles have now been in use for several weeks while the remaining 40 units are due to be delivered in October and November 2019.

The MAN Lion’s City M type buses come with a range of special features, including three extra-wide doors with stepless, low-floor entrances. The buses are powered by a 294-hp (216 kW), six-cylinder Euro 6 diesel engine. The buses are fitted with a number of assistance systems, such as the electronic brake system with ABS and an electronic stability program.

Back in 2016 and 2017, MAN Truck & Bus delivered to Tbilisi 144 MAN Lion’s City CNG buses running on biogas.
