The Ivorian government and the Abidjan Transport Company (SOTRA) renew their trust in Iveco Bus. After the order issued on January 2018 for 400 Crossways Low Entry and 50 Crealis CNG buses, they signed a contract for delivery of another 200 Crossways LE and 50 Crealis NP buses in a length of 18 meters. With this last order, the Iveco Bus vehicles on the roads of the capital Abidjan will amount to more than 700.

“Designed for routes with high traffic volumes”, points Iveco Bus, “the 50 18-meter Crealis will circulate throughout the entire Abidjan metropolitan area, offering passengers an impeccable and comfortable service with modern and welcoming interiors. The Crossway LE buses will be added to the existing fleet and will contribute to the development of the public transport service in Abidjan “.

“The renewed choice of the Ivorian government and Abidjan in favor of natural gas”, adds the producer, “is a further confirmation of the fact that it is an adequate solution for the country, as well as a real opportunity, given the prompt availability of gas in the area. Natural gas vehicles are an effective response to environmental problems and represent a real, mature and efficient solution for passenger transport “.
