Abicar was born in mid Seventies as a manufacturer of caravans, motorhomes and campers. In the following ten years the company diversified the production dedicating to special equipment. Then it became an experimental workshop of Alfa Romeo Commercial Vehicles and, as such, it realized prototypes and small series in civilian and military fields. Leveraging the experience gained in these two areas, Abicar specialized in equipment and processing of commercial and industrial vehicles in different sectors. The catalog of Abicar offers buses built on chassis or derived from vans in urban, tourist, school and disabled versions. There are also special vehicles such as ambulances, mobile laboratories, vehicles for the Fire Brigade and Civil Defence. And mobile homes for residential purposes. For vehicles of its production, as well as those of other brands, the company provides technical after-sales assistance, after-sales support for Car Oil devices and Bce bus doors, and testing.
