From devices and equipment for mining and distilling industry to transport vehicles. A long and varied journey the Autosan one, a Polish company founded in 1832 by Walenty Lipinski and Mateusz Beksinski with a plant for boilers construction. At the end of Eighteenth century, the company combines the traditional activities to the production of vehicles: passenger cars, trams, vehicles for goods transport. In 1926 Autosan presented the first set of bus bodywork on Lancia chassis while in 1948 were built vehicles on mechanical Fiat. The range gradually expanded to intercity and touring coaches. Since 1996 were added military vehicles and, since 2001, bodies and components for rail transport.
