The Carrocera Beulas was launched in 1934 by Ramon Beulas and Narcis Pujol. It was a family business company that started the activity with the construction of wooden body tailored made. In the mid-Fifties the production capacity was about a dozen vehicles per year and the employees about twenty. In the next decade the vehicles were gradually standardizated, especially in the front and rear. Meanwhile, the staff went to 40 workers. The business growth lead to the expansion of the factory that occupied 10 000 square meters (3400 built) while employees rised to 96 in the late Eighties. In the next years Beulas crossed the Iberian borders extending exports to Germany, the United Kingdom, Italy. Between 2000 and 2006, production was about 200 units per year and employees became 190. The models currently in production are four, all in touring version but in different sizes and shapes.
