HISTORICAL PRESENTATION
BredaMenarinibus was founded in 1989 by the merger of two companies. On one hand Bredabus, leader of Breda railway construction and, on the other hand, the historic Menarini coachbuilder founded in 1919. About 5,000 buses have been produced since the Nineties. They are mainly citybus in different sizes and power systems: diesel, natural gas, hybrid electric, electric with batteries and trolleybus. The latest model is the intercity Lander. BredaMenarinibus is based in Bologna and the factory lies on 155,000 square meters area, of which 46,000 covered. Here production and assembly are carried out with final testing on 2 kilometers test track inside the area.
