Ayats is an Iberian manufacturer with a secular tradition in coach sector. The curtains rised in 1905 thank to Juan Ayats and his first designs for passenger transport, al made in wood. It all began at Arbucies, a small town in the province of Girona, where there is still the company headquarter. Today there are three factories: the one at Arbucies, plant of Tona in the province of Barcelona and the African one of Tetouan in Morocco. The vehicles are produced in one or two floors between 20 and 100 seats for intercity and tourism transports. Ayats also produces self-supporting structures using Man, Daf or VDL engines. There are also open top double-decker equipped for guided city tours and special vehicles such as motor homes or models adapted to carry wheelchairs. Ayats is present in a dozen European countries which also provides services 24 hours over 24.
