Omnibus started the activty in 1982. A dozen years later, in 1995, the company began to import used buses taking care restructuring and testing. In 2001, following a collaboration with Spanish body builder, Omnibus developed new construction projects and focused on the marketing of new vehicles on Fiat and and Mercedes chassis from 16 to 40 seats. In 2002 Omnibus signed an agreement with the Portuguese Caetano to import Optimo bus on Toyota mechanics, equipped for the Italian market. In the list of Omnibus there are models from Spain as buses by Unvi, Stacoloma and Stacobus and citybus produced in Poland by Autosan.
