Flexi-i-Trans is a specialist in equipments for public transport passengers and also people on wheelchairs. Of Dutch origin, It was born as taxi company with their own workshop. In 1976 the company became operational under the name of Autoservice International. Drawing on the experience in passenger transportation, in the early Eighties began to deal with minibus transformation. Initially for their needs, then for clients. The demand grew and, in 1995, the company moved to its present location of Velddriel, in Eastern Center Netherlands. In 2001 changed name in AquaBlue Minibus Industries and in the recent years became Flexi-i-Trans. The Dutch company has developed a system (Flexi-i-Trans System), which plays on the flexibility of configurations thanks to folding and easly removing seats. In this way it is possibile to add one or more wheelchairs if necessary. Standard equipments are provided on Mercedes Sprinter, Volkswagen Caddy and Crafter, Ford Transit, Fiat Ducato. The Flexi-i-Trans system is proposed also for larger coaches, both new and used. The production capacity declared by the company is about 500 minibuses per year bodied for taxi companies or health centers in the Netherlands.
