HISTORICAL PRESENTATION

Peugeot is a French car producer that belongs to the PSA Peugeot Citroën controlled by the Peugeot family. The company produces cars, scooters and commercial vehicles for goods and passengers.
The first Peugeot dealership in Italy was opened in Rome in 1899. A few years later, in 1902, brothers John and Caesar Picena won in Turin the first Italian representative for Peugeot motorcycles. In 1905 the industrialist Victor Croizat acquired the patent to build a Peugeot 'Baby' in Piemonte (North Of Italy) and shortly thereafter founded the Société Anonyme Patents Automobiles Peugeot that in 1906 will become the Peugeot Croizat Anonymous Italian Company to build cars under license from the French House. A year after the company closed. In 1908 one of the members opened the 'Mechanical Workshops Turin' licensed Peugeot. This activity did not last long because in 1913 it finished. The vicissitudes of the Peugeot brand in Italy continued and in 1924 borned in Milan the Italian Peugeot Commercial Limited Company. In 1947 the representation of the French House passed to the Turin company Pagani & C. The last step is 1969 with the birth of the current Peugeot Automobili Italia in Milan. The company sells cars, scooters and vans with the Peugeot brand as well as providing used cars, servicing, financial services and services for long term rental. For passengers range Peugeot offers the Expert Tepee up to nine seats and the Boxer minibus 13+1 or 16+1 seats with HDi 120 and 160 horsepower engine (with filter for the most powerful version).
