Rescroft was established in 1976 in Redditch (United Kingdom). From the beginning the firm designed and produced seating for vehicles and concentrated on manufacturing the whole product from tube bending to seat trimming. In 1993 the company launched the M2 category minibus seat range, 'Defender'. In 2001 the company owned Embus floor system. The range now includes differend type of seats (urban bus seating, high-backs, tip-up, lightweight aluminium seat, folding seat) as well as accessories, components, trims, combined head-restraint/grab handle quick-release fittings, Abs backs, Castorway seat manoeuvring device. Rescroft employs approximately 100 people in two factories in Redditch.
