Tecnobus produces alternative powered vehicles. These are electric o hybrid small buses (5 or 6 meters) for public transport in urban areas. These vehicles are not derived from conventional buses but designed and built by Tecnobus in Frosinone plant situated on an area of 10 thousand square meters with about one hundred employees. In addition to Italy, the electric or hybrid-branded Tecnobus circulating in several European countries and also in Canada.
In 2018, the brand and know-how were taken over by Enertronica Spa, which created a new company called BusX.
