HISTORICAL PRESENTATION
Unvi stands for 'Unidad de vehiculos industriales', Iberian company that since 1995 makes bodies for buses. The production focuses on small and medium size vehicles principally designed on Iveco Daily or Mercedes Sprinter and Vario chassis or vehicles derived from vans like the Mercedes Atego. In addition to minibus and midibus, Unvi bodies bus for the city on Volvo chassis and open top double-decker. There are also VIPmodels and special vehicles (bus libraries, office furniture, vehicles 4x4). Together with the Portuguese Camo, the company is part of the Iberian Rumbao Perez. The Unvi headquarter is at Ourense, Galicia spanish town. The company exports its buses in 19 European countries and nations of the Americas, Asia and Africa. Unvi and Camo declare a joint production capacity of 600 vehicles per year.
